I've never been to see the Vagina Monologues. I think I'll do that Saturday night.
WEDNESDAY: You all know you want to go to the Saucy Lady party. Mariapapita assures me it will be a blast. =) I'll be at Central, but that's real close to Wild Rose so I can just head over there afterwards. =)
I am also intrigued by this belly dancing thing. I'm about as bendy and rhythmic as... as... as something that's not at all bendy or rhythmic, but it could be fun. =) I've got the blood... my ancestors would probably disown me if they knew, but oh well.
So yeah. Come do stuff. You can donate old cell phones at these events too, and all the proceeds go to local domestic violence shelters.
Stupid work. Why do people always have their conferences on Fridays, when I could be out having lunch with my choir homeys? The schedule said 12:30, I'm here, the connection is open, it's 12:53. NOBODY IS HERE. EVERY damn time, the same thing. "Oh, we cancelled and didn't tell anyone." Well you know what? Freakin' tell someone so I don't have to drag my sorry ass up here and wait an hour for someone to tell me you decided you didn't want to meet after all! It gets old, especially when I haven't had a chance to eat yet today. (Except for some yummy chocolate. Thanks Walter!)
So I am going to wait here for a while longer to see what happens, then I am going to go, get lunch, and get some ice cream. Ice cream will make everything okay.
