My first post ever!

I didn't really think I had anything terribly interesting to write here. Several of my friends, however, told me I should start a livejournal, so here I go!
Let's see. I got an awesome email the other day. I got nominated for a teaching assistantship! Woot! That means UAH will pay for my tuition and fees (for 9 hours) and for twenty hours a week of menial labor. I'll be the tech monkey for the UAH distance learning programs. Much wootage! This means I'll have a JOB!!! I will be an honest-to-stuff contributing member of society!!
See, I currently have 14 applications/resumes out. For jobs ranging from day camp counselor to medical office assistant to customer service rep at Kroger. Come on. I have a freakin' bachelor's degree... you'd think I'd be capable of at least ONE of these jobs.
Man, I am tired. I was out WAY too late last night. Or early this morning. Oh hell, who am I kidding?? I didn't get in until 10 am. It was a good night, though. Worth every minute. =)
So I am going to go have a nap. You all are spared my further rambling!
