Froom froom...

Well, not really, but this is gonna kill me someday.
Freya loves to dash down the steps when I take her out for a walk. I have an extendable 20-foot leash, so normally this isn't a problem.
But today... her friend Jack was outside. (Jack is the little Jack Russell Terrier that lives downstairs.) Damn dog dashes down the steps and around the corner so fast I couldn't even track her. Before I know it, I'm about yanked off balance-- headed either down the steps (ow) or over the balcony railing (more ow.) While I am trying to pull her back so I can make my way down the steps, she tangles her leash with Jack's and about trips Jack's owner as well. All this is accompanied by excited yips and dashings-about on the parts of both dogs.
Gotta train that damn dog to slow down!
Otherwise, an okay day. Rather disappointed in the lack of thunderstorms. *pout*
Oh well. The forecast for the rest of the week is the same: hotter than hell, chance of scattered t-storms.
Today:
Lunch with Walter
Hangin' out with Chris
Dinner with Chris, Charlie and John
Not much else. I would vacuum if it wasn't so late. Jeez I'm dull. =)
Eating of the rest of my rocky road ice cream.
Tomorrow:
There will be cleaning
Working out
Maybe some blood donation?
Shit! Do I have a dr. appt?? What time? Arrgh!
Fiat Canorus 6-7. (This is the highlight of my weeks, btw.) lol
After Fiat: Hopefully some hanging out with my favorite menagerie!
Next week should be more interesting. I have a dr. appt. Wednesday, another appt at some point, Fiat Thursday, and three different dance classes to go to! Mondays will be Swing, Wednesdays Latin (or those could be backwards) and Fridays are modern dance. Yeah, I'm a dork, I'm gonna try to learn hip-hop, okay? lol.
If ANYONE is interested in dance classes, you should come! It will be fun. More fun if a bunch of us are there. And if you already know how, come and brush up.
NEW Swing Dance Class II – Learn more about this popular dance form including more of the Lindy Hop, Triple Swing, West Coast Swing, and Boogie Woogie. This class series lasts seven weeks and begins Monday, June 28th at 7:30PM in Room B.
NEW Latin Dance Class II – Come enjoy a little more Latin flavor and additional club style, social, and international style of Latin dancing in this eight-week class series. Classes begin Thursday, June 23rd at 6:30PM in Room B.
If you have never heard this song (Swan Dive by Sister Hazel) you need to go listen to it NOW! All their songs rock, actually, but I'm really feeling this one right now. =)
