Good times!
Went to see The Village with Jeremy yesterday. I am not sure what I think of it. It is delightfully suspenseful... and has all your typical Shyamalan twists of plot and all that good stuff. But I think he cheated in some places. And a lot of it was SO overdone. So I'll have to think about it some more. I mean... some of it was so overdramatic that people were laughing. Of course, at one point, the woman sitting down the row from me startled so hard she rocked the whole row! =)
Then off to the Duck's for a rousing session of getting my ass handed to me in poker. Did I mention I don't know how to play poker? I'm gonna have to go look that stuff up! Y'all wanna play blackjack, I can compete. =P But yeah. 'Twas much fun. Everyone wanted to go sleep around four am (pansies!) so Ryan went home, Duck went to bed, and Walter and I curled up on the Ubiquitous Sofa. 'Tis a sweet sofa, you might say!
Then there was the waking up at eight am to come get the Pontiac and take it to the Athens to get looked at by the insurance adjuster. I think we got anally raped there. She said repairs would be around $1000, and since the deductible is $500 she cut me a check for $530.75 or something like that. Unfortunately, a different garage estimated repairs at $1400. So we'll see how that goes.
Then stopped by Bruno's to replace the tag that was swiped off the Pontiac. WTF do they want with it anyway? I can't wait to see what crimes get committed in my name. =P
*yawn* Now I am going to have a nap. Feel free to call, but don't expect me to be terribly coherent. =)
