My journal is called "Life is what happens when you're busy making plans." I've always liked this quote because it's too damn true. And what goes on in said life, I type here.
My subtitle is "ADHD? No wa.... ooh, shiny!" because life is much more fun when you stop trying to plan everything and just take a little time to play with the shiny things. And, well, because it's me. =)
My friends page is called "My Homeys" because... umm... it's my homeys?
My username is Jaralith, in the style of the dragons from Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern. All her dragon names end in -th. Jaralith is my green dragon: feisty, active, mischevious and quick. (The two colors females come in are green and gold. Golds are huge and smart, but mostly they stay home and lay eggs. Yay for greens!)
My default userpic is the daschund puppy in a bun because I thought it was cute. =) My other userpics are a turtle, 'cause I'm the Turtle; the MacBeath tartan because that's my family line; my butt, for silly entries; and "The Dose-Dependent Effects of Grad School" because I work with dose-dependent effects and I often feel like banging my head into my computer screen. (Many thanks to Erdfylla (sp?) from whom I ganked the icon.)
