Dec. 23rd, 2004 05:53 pmSo I just realized how lucky I am.
I used to drive from Alabama to St. Louis by taking 65 up to 24 in Nashville, through Paducah, then getting on 64 in Illinois.
As it turns out, about 40 miles of I-24 are shut down around Paducah, and have been for 12 hours now. People have had to sit in their cars all day. The National Guard is on their way to dig them out. The 24-64 interchange looks similar, except it's under about two feet. I hope they get out of there soon. It's freaking cold.
I hope everyone's having a good break so far... hugs to all! Tomorrow I get to visit my cracked-out family on my mom's side... this will be fun. =)
Love to all!
