Rawr.

Evil fuzzballs. They just knocked over my shelf!
Oh well. Now I have no excuse not to organize it.
And the kitties are both in my lap purring, so I can't be *too* upset.

I am sore. Damn it. I actually got up off my butt and went and worked out yesterday. Yippee. I even went and talked to the person who works in the weight room... "I am a wimp and I don't wanna be. Help me?" So today at three I go in and pick up the extra-special personalized workout plan they've made up for me. This excites me. I will make progress toward non-wimpiness. But damn it, I'm still sore.

Burningspam Phantomness shall occur on Saturday. All those in favor, comment. (Tammy, I know you want to... Walter, you will be dragged...)

And today, the paperwork waiting period is over! I can't believe it's already been 30 days.
I believe the traditional celebration includes getting drunk and getting laid, but I'll settle for one or the other! =)

And financial aid should be disbursed this week! This makes me happy. Thrilled, even. Yay money. And classes start Monday! I am way more excited about this than I should be. Yay for stuff to do! Yay for getting on toward this damn degree! And yay for interesting classes... I'll be in Psychometrics, Statistics, and Concentrated Readings. For the first time in my life, every class I'm taking is useful and pertains to my area of research! Much wootage.

And now, lunch. I'm a big fan of eating. One of my resolutions was to eat healthier but that hot pocket is calling my name...

Ow.

Stupid new years resolutions.

The average person keeps their resolutions until approximately Super Bowl Sunday. I'm not sure if the game is the reason why people quit, or if people just happen to get bored around three months. I, however, will be pleased if I make it that far without killing myself.

My goal: gain muscle mass, be not wimpy. Improve overall general health.

Today was not encouraging. I was all jazzed about finally learning to work out correctly, when I learned that I had been doing it all pretty much wrong. So the gym people showed what to do and how to do it. Yay. Except that number one on my list is bench press. I've improved since high school! I can press the bar FOUR TIMES in a row!! I can't tell you how disconcerting it is to be this tiny female struggling valiently to lift the bar while the group of beefy men next to you are lifting hundreds of pounds with their pinky toes. *sigh* But that's why I'm there. Everyone starts somewhere, I guess. *long-suffering sigh*

I can't wait for Monday. I don't actually have my first class until 5:30pm. But chamber choir meets at 3:30! Yay! Real music! I mean, sure, I'm going to sing with Central Pres tonight. But but but... music! Like, where there's balance and pitch and tuning and rhythm and and and... and I'm not gonna get that at Central. =)

Hokay. Room cleanage, singing, run to first pres but I forget why... poo... there was something I needed to do... shites. Ho well. /end ramble
