Narf.

So I finally caved, and I got an appointment at student death services at three.
I found this sort of curled-up position where if I don't move at all, I won't cough as much. As a result, I slept in this position all night and now my shoulder is sore.

I'm gonna go sit in choir... no singing, though. Yesterday went well, I think, at the ISO/ICO event. It raised $1054 for Save the Children. Yay!

I was a little sore there, but today I'm contemplating dosing myself into unconsciousness and sleeping until I get better. Seriously... my lungs itch so bad I have to cough (and I don't want to get pneumonia from leaving all the crap in them) but it hurts so much... so I'm sitting here at work, sorta curled up in my chair, and every now and then sort of spasming and hoping nobody walks through! I know Julia Boehme (the really awesome CRNP at student death) can't prescribe the good stuff, but I'm hoping she'll call the doctor she works with for some cough syrup with codeine. =) Y'all thought the Xanax was bad... >;)

C'mon, Dr. Anderson... you're damn hot but your class ends in five minutes so wrap it up and let's go...

Jeff, I will so stab you.

I lied. I went to choir and Walter made me go home.
It took some arm-twisting, let me tell you. =)

I got a birthday card from my parents today. It's awesome.
The front is a monk sitting on top of a mountain, saying "Today is the first day of the rest of your week." The caption is "Zen Master of the Obvious." Inside: "Since it's your birthday, this is obviously your birthday card."

Mom says "happy birthday sweetie!" Dave says "Happy #23, love Davon." (It's his Vulcan name. Long story.) Tink says, "Ruff, Ruff and a happy ruffday, love Tinkeybelle." Then there's this faked handwriting that says "Me too. I'm in England! -Katya." And Dave wrote this extra little caption. I had asked for a pair of cow pajamas from Rave. (Tammy and I saw them when we were shopping.) The caption says, "What U mean you're out of cow pajamas you "rave" little biotch at the Mid Rivers store??" So I got a check. Yay family! =)

My family's crazy. =)

So who'd've thunk that postnasal drip could develop into pneumonia?

Tonight I get to go pick up my Zithromax and prednisone from the pharmacy. Zithromax I like. It is cherry-flavored and not nasty at all. Prednisone is god-awful. I also got some awesome throat thingees called Larynex. My whole mouth and throat is numb! Neat! Maybe I won't be able to taste the prednisone. =P

Since I'm not contagious as far as anyone can tell, I have no excuse to skip Psychometrics. Or work. Sigh.

Taxes. Another sigh. I got my W-2 from UAH on Saturday. I've never done my own taxes. Dave always swiped my W-2s before I even knew they'd come in the mail, and magically a check would arrive! Last year, since we didn't know whether to file joint or separate, we had our taxes done by a professional. This year... I'm on my own. Le sigh.

Hokay. Nap before class.
