Is it sad when I get all excited that I have access to an article that's relevant to my thesis?
Seriously, I was all jumping up and down today when I found that the article I needed was in the very last issue the library here got before they cancelled their subscription to Journal of Consulting and CLinical Psychology. Unfortunately, they cancelled Journal of Divorce and Remarriage in 1987, which is sad because my advisor publishes in that journal and her own school doesn't even subscribe! Silly UAH.

Anyway. So I have some articles, and now instead of, y'know, doing something with them, I am updating my LJ. And I can't just get up and go do stuff, because Thor is sitting on my lap and purring. I couldn't possibly move him. I should sit here and bond with him while I surf the web.

Ooh, ooh, I found something else cool out. We have an EKG! Way cool. Dr. Torres has all sorts of neat stuff in her lab! I'm all excited. I could broaden a bit... the effects of family conflict on a number of physiological measures! It's all been done, but not together, not my way, they used divorce instead of conflict, and not relating to the late adolescent's transition to college!

Wheee!!

We's supposed to be at Central Pres early tomorrow so we can go over the anthem in the sanctuary before service.
